What is SculpSure?

SculpSure is a body contouring treatment that harnesses laser light to attack fat deposits. It is usually a good solution for anyone who has struggled to lose weight in specific areas like the abdomen. Often, a person will reach their goal weight (or close to it) but will still find that their belly area has resistant fat on it, even after they have dieted and done specific toning exercises. SculpSure is designed especially to eliminate that fat.

How Does the SculpSure System Eliminate Fat?

The treatment machine has four different paddles, through which the treatment is delivered. These paddles can be secured to any specific area on the belly or hips. Once all of the paddles are securely placed, the machine will start sending concentrated heat within the buried fat cells. This heat is alternated with bursts of cool to make sure that the patient stays comfortable during the treatment.

What Can Patients Expect After SculpSure?

After the treatment is over, the fat cells that were treated will release their fat, sending the excess fat harmlessly into the blood to be eliminated. The results from SculpSure will often be evident within around six weeks after the treatment, but the full results are not usually seen until about 12 weeks after the treatment. Patients don't need to take time off work to have a SculpSure treatment. The whole process takes just 25 minutes and patients can resume their usual routine as soon as the treatment is over. At most, patients might experience minor tenderness, redness, or swelling in the treatment area. Once the results from the first treatment are fully evident, some people may want to return for another treatment to get optimum results. However, some people only need one treatment to eliminate small deposits of stubborn fat.
